The dental implant process

01

It starts with a real conversation

Feeling nervous is normal. Your first visit is about slowing things down and talking through what’s been bothering you, what you’re hoping to fix, and what a great outcome looks like for you. Dr. Blair takes the time to listen, then uses digital imaging to understand what’s happening beneath the surface so nothing is guessed and nothing is rushed.

02

A plan built around you

No two implant cases are the same, so your plan shouldn’t be either. We’ll walk you through whether implants are the right solution, what the timeline looks like, and what support you’ll have along the way. You’ll understand the why, the how, and the cost before anything moves forward.

03

Placing the foundation

When it’s time, the implant is gently placed into the jawbone, where it becomes the anchor for your new tooth. Healing happens gradually, allowing the implant to fuse naturally and create a strong, stable base. We’ll check in and make sure everything is healing exactly as it should.

04

Your smile, restored

Once healing is complete, a custom crown is placed on top of the implant. It’s designed to look, feel, and function like a natural tooth. Most patients tell us it feels less like “getting something fixed” and more like getting a part of themselves back.

Your first visit just got a little brighter.

Have questions? We've got answers.

Are dental implants permanent?

Dental implants are designed to be a long-term solution. With good oral hygiene and regular checkups, they can last for decades. They’re one of the most durable and reliable ways to replace missing teeth.

Does getting an implant hurt?

Most patients are surprised by how manageable the process feels. We focus on your comfort at every step, from planning to placement to recovery. Any soreness afterward is typically mild and temporary, and we’ll make sure you know exactly what to expect.

How long does the implant process take?

Because implants need time to heal and fully integrate, the process usually takes a few months from start to finish. That said, the timeline varies based on your individual needs. We’ll walk you through each phase up front so there are no surprises along the way.
